Why am I receiving a 503 error when I attempt to download BTSidekick?

You may be on a WAP or Enterprise (BES) browser that is blocking the gateway. Switch to a BIS browser by opening your browser, going to Options, select General Properties and change the default browser to BlackBerry Internet Browser.
